Welcome to the KNITorious Sew A Long! I am your friendly host on this journey, Renee! Bare with me while I muddle through this, it's my first time!
So here's how it's going to work. I'll post each day with part of the pattern to go over. I'll be posting this in the Facebook group each day and you'll comment on that post with your progress! At the end of the Sew A Long, someone who has participated in all the steps will win a surprise! I haven't decided yet what I'm giving up lol but I promise it'll be cool!
This month we will be using
Mo's Lounge Gown Pattern Nightgown or Dress!! It's an awesome pattern that once you get it down, it's super quick and very easily customizable! You can check out her other great patterns at Mo's Pattern Shop
So, without further ado:
DAY ONE!!!
Today is fabric picking and cutting day. I chose the Jack and Sally Sugar Skull print from KNITorious. Go Print out that Pattern!
I'm making it for my daughter so went with the 3/4 size. I didn't read everything so I cut both long sleeve and short sleeve version haha, but I chose to just make the short sleeve one.
Have you used these chalk pens before? I used to use the regular pencil kind to trace my patterns but they always sucked and broke. You can find these
HERE. They are refillable and come in different colors. Seriously amazing! It's filled with powder chalk and has a little wheel that turns while you draw and leaves a fine line a chalk behind.

Cutting it out, weeeeee!
Aaaaaaaaaand I didn't take a picture of my cut pieces. FAIL!!! But that's all for today just get your pieces cut. Choose your fabrics (I chose solid black sleeves with my patterned main body), decide short or long sleeve and cut your pieces out. Don't forget to cut the long skinny piece for your neckband! When you have all your pieces cut, post a pic of them in the comments of the Facebook post where you clicked on this!
